Privacy Policy

This policy applies to lakecomedo.com, Lake Comedo's Firebase-hosted website, applicant and client portals, mailing-list forms, and brand inquiry forms.

Lake Comedo is operated by EAES Inc. and represented commercially by Hyperface LLC, with production activity in the Philippines. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to transformations@lakecomedo.com.

• Account information: name, email address, authentication identifiers, language preference, and account role.
• Application and contact information: phone number, age, location, preferred contact method, availability, emergency contact details, and application status.
• Skin and treatment information: skin concerns, affected areas, duration and severity, medications, recent treatments, allergies or sensitivities, relevant history, and notes you choose to provide.
• Photos and filming preferences: submitted skin photographs, photo confirmations, filming comfort, platform permissions, restrictions, and consent acknowledgments. A separate filming release is required before selected footage is published.
• Marketing and usage data: pages and actions, referral or campaign parameters, survey identifiers, attribution source, and advertising identifiers such as Meta browser or click IDs where available.
• Mailing-list and business inquiry data: subscriber email addresses and brand names, contact names, business emails, product categories, and inquiry messages.

Applicants and participants. We use account, contact, application, skin, photo, filming-preference, and availability information to save and assess applications, communicate decisions, plan production, coordinate professional review and follow-ups, and document required permissions. Applying does not automatically enroll you in marketing email.

Email subscribers. We use a subscriber's email address to send launch news, project updates, and related Lake Comedo communications. Subscription is optional and may be ended at any time through the unsubscribe link in a mailing.

Brand contacts. We use business contact and inquiry information to evaluate and respond to potential commercial relationships. A brand inquiry does not enroll the contact in the viewer mailing list.

Across these relationships, we may also use information to:

• Create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, and provide dashboards.
• Measure site performance, application funnels, campaign attribution, and aggregate audience activity.
• Prevent misuse, enforce our terms, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on the information and applicable law, we process data with your consent, to provide requested services, for legitimate operational and security purposes, or to comply with law. Health-related information, photographs, and filming choices may receive additional protection as sensitive information.

Applicant consent and subscriber marketing consent are separate. Withdrawing from marketing does not withdraw an application, and withdrawing an application does not automatically unsubscribe an independently requested mailing-list subscription.

This privacy notice describes our practices; it is not a substitute for any specific consent required for sensitive data, treatment, filming, publication, or commercial use. You may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, although withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from continuing an application or participation.

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to team members and vendors involved in application review, production, professional skincare services, communications, hosting, security, analytics, and legal or accounting support.

Current technology providers include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, storage, and hosting; Google Analytics for site measurement; Meta technologies for advertising measurement when enabled; and Resend for transactional and mailing-list email. These providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable terms and safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect participants or others, to investigate abuse, or as part of a properly structured business reorganization. We do not sell applicant skin information or photographs.

The site and its providers may use cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, security, language and progress preferences, survey linkage, analytics, and campaign attribution. Browser controls can limit these technologies, but doing so may affect sign-in, saved progress, attribution, or other functions.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including application administration, production records, consent and rights documentation, dispute handling, security, and legal obligations. Specific retention schedules are still being finalized and will be added as operations mature.

Applicant records, subscriber records, and brand inquiries are maintained as separate categories and may have different retention periods. Subscriber contact information is retained until unsubscribe or another valid deletion request, subject to a limited suppression record where needed to honor the opt-out.

We use role-based access, authenticated accounts, database and storage rules, and reputable service providers. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, object, access, correct, erase or block, port certain data, withdraw consent, seek damages, or lodge a complaint. Philippine applicants may learn more from the National Privacy Commission.

To make a request, email transformations@lakecomedo.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Mailing-list messages also include an unsubscribe mechanism.

Applications are limited to adults age 18 or older. The website may link to YouTube and other third-party services whose privacy practices are governed by their own notices.

We may update this policy as the project, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be posted here. Material changes may also be communicated through the site, dashboard, or email when appropriate.
